Documents let you store text files in your Kintaba instance that can be easily linked in your incidents.

Adding a new document

To create a new document, select "New Document" from the "All Documents" page.


Documents can contain text, lists, and images, and can be updated at any time.


Mentioning a document in an incident

Documents can be mentioned in an incident via the composer by typing "@" followed by the title of the doc. This will load a list of matching document titles that you can include.


Mentioned documents will show up as clickable links within the incident activity log.


Adding documents to automations

One of the best uses of documents is to have them included automatically via Automations.

Since documents can be mentioned in messages, you can easily use the "Send a Message" automation to include a document.
